This remedy is most often used in cases affecting the GI tract, for example Nausea, Vomiting and Diarrhea.

 

Conditions may start in damp or cold weather. Fall (Autumn) when the rains come is often the worse time of year for people needing this remedy.

 

If suffering from nausea and vomiting their sense of smell will be acute and will aggravate or start the vomiting.

 

Watery, jelly-like stools are present if the person is suffering from Diarrhoea.

 

Think of a classic rheumatism that comes on during damp weather and mainly affects the joints of the hands and feet and the chances are that Colchicum is needed!
