This is one of those remedies given in specific acute conditions. But when it is called for no other remedy will do!!
It is used for Diarrhoea. When there is lots of gurgling in the abdomen and the stools are expelled very forcibly think of Podo.
The stools themselves are usually painless although there will be lots of wind expelled.
So when the sufferer’s abdomen gurgles, and they rush to the toilet and quickly expel lots of loose stool and feel weak afterwards reach for this remedy!
